30 Mar - 6 Apr 2010: BLISS IN BALI - Art of Living Advanced Course

Alvin attended his 2nd Art of Living Advanced Course in Bali.

"BLISS IN BALI" was special due to the presence of Guruji.

When over 500 participants from 23 countries came together for spiritual practice, the energy was simply amazing.

Guruji and the divine moon
Sunrise in Bali

Above: during one of the night satsang by the beach, just when Guruji joined us, the moon miraculously rose from the horizon seemingly to decorate the backdrop. What a divine display of grace and beauty.

Every morning, we gathered at the beach at 5.45am for pranayama, meditation and yoga. It was so beautiful to experience the transition from dark to dawn, and to enjoy the wonderful sight of sun rise over the horizon.

I was full of gratitude every moment. I discovered every moment to be special with breath-taking sight everywhere I turned. The Nikon D90 served me well in capturing many beautiful memories...

I made many wonderful friends who are all on the spiritual path.

When the Advanced Course ended on 4 June, Alvin stayed for 2 days in Ubud to further his silence and enjoyed Balinese massage and yoga.

He chose a chalet by the rice paddy for some quiet contemplation and reading, and just spent time with himself.

It's so helpful for the soul to return every now and then to the embrace of Mother Nature and just be by myself, and to enter into silence.
